Obama, Bush oversee closing of Gitmo

In a historic act between the standing president and president-elect, George W. Bush and Barack Obama jointly participated in the closing of the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

"I want to thank President Bush for allowing me to take part in this event, an event that has unprecedented significance," Obama said as Bush stood by.

The two men casually toured the facility when it became time for the ceremonial closure. Obama realized he was locked in one of the cells.

"Come guys, this isn't funny," Obama nervously laughed.

Then Bush took out a warrant signed by US magistrates. "Bar'ack Hussein Obama, you are now officially charged with violating the Logan Act by attempting to broker a deal in Iraq. You are charged with violating US voter registration laws due to your work with ACORN. And you took over $3 million from foreign contributors.

Speechless for once, Obama stared blankly at Bush.

"You also have an unpaid parking ticket from '92."

Bush continued. "Mr. President elect, it is indeed my pleasure to close this facility, with you still inside of it."

Obama then became agitated. "Guys, I wasn't even born in the US so how can I -- oops, I probably shouldn't have said that..."

Hundreds of Sailors and Marines were transported off the base. A sign was left: "Closed indefinitely."

Obama cried, "Can a brotha at least get a qu'ran?"

Bush assured Obama would receive a fair trial.

"Eventually," he added.
